329 duplex stainless steel wire mesh/screen is one of the earlier duplex grades, hence it's higher carbon content. 329 duplex stainless steel wire mesh has a relatively low PREN of 32 in comparison to other duplex and super duplex steels; this therefore restricts its use in seawater applications.
